Foresight
Foresight
Foresight lists every product you have in stock at Amazon or on the way there, and shows how long until Amazon sells it at your price. For each product it shows how the price, the number of sellers and sales a month have moved since you bought it, how many sellers and units are cheaper than you, and how long until your price is reached.
Foresight comes with Starter, Plus and the 30-day trial. On the free plan the page says so and nothing is read. Everyone in your account can see it. Foresight needs your Amazon seller account connected, which the account owner or an admin does on the Amazon page in Settings.
Where the numbers come from
- Your side, from your Amazon connection, once a day: your stock at Amazon and on the way, your price, the date you listed each product and your own sales.
- The market, from Keepa, once a day: the sellers and their prices with delivery, their stock, the Buy Box, Amazon's own price and how often Amazon runs out of stock, and sales a month (Amazon's "bought in past month" badge, or Keepa's count of sales rank drops when there's no badge).
- Since purchase means since your latest buy of the product in Seller Oracle. With no buy found, the trends start at the date you listed it, and the row says "No purchase found". When the buy, or the listing, is more than 2 years ago, the trends show the last 2 years, and the row says "showing the last 2 years".
Every figure says when it was read when that wasn't today, such as "Price from 8 Oct" or "Market data from 8 Oct". A product added today shows "Not read yet" or "Not worked out yet" until the day's reads are done.
Your price reached in
How long until Amazon sells at your price: the units held by sellers cheaper than you, divided by the product's sales a day. When Amazon is cheaper than you, only the time Amazon is out of stock counts. "At least" means a cheaper seller's stock is unknown or a buy limit was counted, so the wait could be longer. Under your price, the page shows the prices that would sell within 30, 60 and 90 days.
Tabs, sort and columns
- Tabs: All, Slow to sell, Price fallen, More sellers and Amazon cheaper.
- Sort: longest wait first, biggest price drop first, or newest buys first.
- Columns: tick to show or hide a column, and drag it or use its up and down buttons to reorder. Your choice is saved for you only. Five more columns start hidden: your sales in the last 30 days, the lowest price in 90 days, Amazon's competitive price, stuck stock at Amazon, and days in stock at Amazon.
Hover a trend line, or tab to it, for bigger charts of the price, sellers and sales a month, one point a week.
A product's pop-up
Click a row, or tap a card on a phone, to open the product's pop-up: its three trends, the sellers cheaper than you and the next few above with their stock, how the wait was worked out, your stock and sales, and Amazon's price and stock-outs over 3, 6, 9 and 12 months. Its history shows how the numbers changed, as charts and week by week. Tick boxes above the price chart hide or show its lines, and are saved for you.
What Foresight never shows
It never shows profit, Buy Box share, your SKUs or other sellers' ids. It never changes your prices on Amazon.
