Ask Claude or ChatGPT about your buying
You can now connect Claude or ChatGPT to your Seller Oracle account and ask it about your buying in plain English.
What's new
Once it's connected, you can ask it things like these.
- "How much did I spend this month?"
- "Which retailer do I buy from most?"
- "What did I pay for B0ABCDE123 last time?"
- "What's waiting for me in the Action Centre?"
It can look up an order by any order number, product, shop, ASIN or date, show your spending by month and by retailer, list refunds you're still waiting for, and give you a delivery code when you ask for one.
The assistant can read your Seller Oracle data but can't change anything. It can't read your emails or your invoice files, and you can disconnect it at any time.
Why we built it
A quick question used to mean opening Analytics, setting the dates and filtering, or exporting to a spreadsheet. Plenty of us already have Claude or ChatGPT open all day. Now you can ask the question the way you'd ask a VA.
Where to find it
The account owner connects it in Settings > Apps > AI assistants. The page gives you the connector address and step-by-step set-up for the Claude app, claude.ai, the ChatGPT app and chatgpt.com.
- The free Claude plan allows one custom connector. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an Owner adds it under Organization settings, then Connectors, and you click Connect.
- ChatGPT needs a Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu plan. On chatgpt.com you also turn on Developer mode, and on Business only an admin can add it.
The AI assistants help article shows what an assistant can see.
